Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America is the State Society’s major “giving back” event of the year.  Started by the Maine State Society over 20 years ago, the Wreaths Across America organization aims to honor our nation’s fallen with the motto “Remember.  Educate.  Teach.”  Each year trucks leave Maine full of fresh wreaths, which will be delivered to our military cemeteries and placed on the graves of those that gave the ultimate sacrifice.  One day we come to cover the entire cemetery, which is over 200,000 graves!  In 2014, the team of the West Virginia State Society and WVU National Capital Alumni Chapter teamed up to sponsor a Truck Crew.
